Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be at home during the installation?
No. We arrange access with you or your property manager – you don’t need to be on site during the installation. We keep you updated by email or WhatsApp as the work goes ahead.
Do I need a battery?
Not always. A battery lets you use more of your own solar energy in the evening, and battery backup for power cuts is available as an option. Whether it pays off depends on how you use your home, and we’ll give you an honest answer in your study.
Are there grants for solar panels?
It depends on what’s available when you install. We check the grants that apply to your case and handle the application for you, but we can’t promise one in advance. Your quote will tell you exactly where you stand.
Can I claim tax relief on the installation?
Only if you pay income tax in Spain (IRPF), and the Canary Islands have their own rules. If that’s your case, we’ll tell you what may apply, and your tax adviser can confirm it. If you’re taxed in another country, this relief doesn’t apply.
What happens after the installation?
You get access to the monitoring app as standard, and we stay on hand in English for any questions. Regular maintenance is available on request.
